Good catch. I think her earlier stuff like this had a freshness and authenticity that is missing from the more recent work. She's a tremendous talent, but I feel like she has fallen prey to "Bonamassa syndrome". Nothing against talented artists trying to break out of genre barriers to be commercially successful, but to me there is something formulaic and overwrought going on there.
"Diamonds in the Dirt" from 2010 is my favorite. The more recent recordings like "Nobody's Fool" and "Blues Album" are good, but a bit over-produced IMO. Her live performances are rawer and earthier, in a good way.
