Even though Sergio Leone died in 1989, I wish Clint Eastwood would do another Spaghetti Western using their style of directing and filming. Its nice to watch those Spaghetti Westerns, just too bad there isn't anything new. Is there another Sergio Leone?
Follow Ups:
I personally don't care much for westerns, Unforgiven might be an exception, but what Uncle Clint REALLY needs to do is to resurrect Dirty Harry.A tough man coming out of retirement - actually always pulled out by some, well, punks - has been a popular theme in movies all around the globe, with even the Russians making at least one - Voroshilovski Strelok.
If he could do to that genre what he did to westerns with Unforgiven, we would have something to enjoy. He would join the ranks of such greats as Yves Montand and Jean Gabin (The Action Man) in their roles of former gangsters fighting scum. What that film would need is a touch of intelligence, with an emphasis not on slam-bam, but on psychology and human faces, with some tough talk, of course, stone face and complete confidence - ala Gabin.

That movie was a tribute to Sergio as well as a counter-theme to the senseless and unrealistic cartoon violence in the dollars trilogy that made Eastwood famous.Tom §.
