Yesterday after work I went to the new theater on Sunset where the Cinerama Dome was. The Dome is integrated into a new 14 theater complex. I wanted to see Amadeus directors cut, and there was no other theater choice. The Arclight was beautiful, my film was in theater 14 and it was very large, with comfortable reserved seating. Go before 6:00 as it's cheap then, just $9.95; after 6 its $14. I doubt I'll be going back. The first release of Amadeus was better. These added 20 minutes were on the cutting room floor for good reason. The only improvement was we do get to see just how well endowed Mozart's wife actually is.

Thanks for the info on the new theaters and the Amadeus rerelease. I looked at it last Saturday while on my way to Amoeba records and wondered what it was like. Expensive at $14, but still cheaper than my trip to Amoeba, where I was spending approx. $100/hr.
I can get a great DVD for, anywhere's between, $9.95 and 25.99 and still be ahead of the game !
