  Never Cry Wolf was a good, book, but an equally good movie in my opinion. I grew up reading all the Farley Mowatt I could get my hands on. My all time favorite is 'Grey Seas under' - fantastic pseudo-historical story about an Atlantic salvage tug. Check it out:
