Thank you very much...everyone. I will start looking for these titles this week. I'm contemplating "Nightmare on Elm Street", this coming week...just based on reviews I've read.I picked up "Opera", "Tenebre" & "Deep Red" double DVD, the Elite release of "Night of the Living Dead", "The Evil Dead"...the Elite release...and "Army of Darkness...the Bootleg Director's Cut", and "The Vanishing" already this week and they are in the pile! Pretty tame stuff, I'm sure.
As you can see I'm eager to get into Argento...to some degree.
Follow Ups:
I love Deep Red. Tenebrae is good too, but IMO 1 step down from DR.
Find Argento's Phenomena (AKA Creepers) as well - it stars Jennifer Connelly when she was about 15 yo.
Don't watch too many at once :~)Cheers

If you are keen on "sub-culture" film stuff, especially early horror, splatter, exploitation etc etc, you need this book. It has been a great resouce for me.Cheers
