    I found Requiem for a Dream to be one of those movies that stays with you for a long time. I think Harmonia's referrall to "strong stuff" is putting it mildly. For me, the film was depressing as all get out, if not disgusting. Yet, it is a remarkable film.

    JC does an excellent job - perhaps the best I've seen from her. But consider this a second warning about the film.

      Saw it. "Strong stuff", indeed. Great use of quickly switching from scene to scene toward the end of the film. Really heightened the impact. I think this movie is going to haunt me for a while.
