reading the book versions of SFOC and THW. I read both and was let down immensely by the movie versions. Snow was somewhat close to the book, but I just couldn't get used to Hawke as the central character. Don't know why. Horse was just another Redford "look at me...feel sorry for me" vehicle. The ending was nothing like the book.

Haven't seen the other two.
