"Trekkies" is a documentary about Star Trek fans and their love and devotion to their hobby. At times it was very funny (the guy who built the Captain Pike motorized wheelchair was hilarious, as were his visits to Radio Shack for parts). And at times it was very poignant. Reminded me of another hobby that takes up a lot of my time, energy, and money, and the good feelings I get when I communicate here with others that share the same interests.
