The movie's only redeeming factor was James Garner. That reminds me of that stupid HBO movie "Afterburn". What f'n moron would hit the afterburner in a F-16, if you know you're disoriented? It's like flooring the accelerator on a icy back-road. He deserved to die! Forever remove that mutant defect from gene pool.
But turn about is fair game, my jewel is "Electric Dreams".
loved "e-dreams", and loved "barbarians" too. If you're into being really really rich (you spend less than you make and dump it all into the us stock market), "barbarians" is particularly interesting.I've felt this kind of thing twice myself, once at the hands of T Bone Pickens, when he raided Newmont Mining back in the 80's, and lately I've made a huge windfall speculating on the Cyprus-Amax vs Phelps Dodge fiasco. These guys have such huge egos, it's easy to predict what they will do: what I call a risky-sure thing. The nice thing is, all the trading was done under the 401k shelter, so it cost me nothing.
God, I love this country. If you spend as much time learning about one sector of the US market as you do picking your nose, you too can be a multi-millionare. You don't have to be lazy to be rich in America, but it helps!
ya, I love Garner too. He's the guy who encouraged me to try a "Rockford Turn" in a friend's General Motors product. It works! That friend won't let me drive his cars anymore though. What a pussy.
