I've heard that "The Godfather Part II" was the last American film to be printed in dye-transfer Technicolor. Was it something good or an outdated technology?

i think technicolor looks great. if you can, try to see a technicolor film in a theater. they are beautiful films. i wish i could see more classics in movie theaters.eric
AFAIK The 13th Warrior was the last first release feature to use dye transfer albeit a souped up modernized version.
