it is, a picture you have to look at twice or more,the real suspence, is not the crime, of course, but the life of the higher society, in 1932, versus the life of the " underground people" the servants, it is, a social critic, and for me a real pleasure to look at, there is so much in this film,i t is a great work..Too bad you did not found pleasure in it !
Precisely! It angers me that the film was marketed as a "Comedy Murder Mystery," but I guess the studio thought it would draw a bigger crowd that way. In any event, Gosford Park is a super piece of cinema.
