Four Little Girls-Spike Lee-Terific, just great documentary on the four young girls killed in the Alambama Church bomging. Thoroughly recommended.*The Man Who Wasn't There-Good noir, with BB Thornton again being great.
*Dry Cleaning-worst garbage I have seen in years, turned it off when the sodomy began. French psych drama, with unlikable characters, and meandering plot.
Follow Ups:
Four Little Girls is a great documentary, The Man Who Wasn't There is another good noir from the Cohens.Have given Dry Cleaning a miss thus far. I'm not in the mood for it now fersher.
I shoudl have turned it off when the husband and wife went to the transvestite nightclub show, and are seduced by the star and his sister, so that they husband goes home with the sister and the wife with the brother. They share a small living room watchign each other cheat; at the end of the night, the brother asks the husband for money, that is, he and his sister expect to get paid for doing that, and .........
Agree on Four Little Girls. Terrific documentary. Shows what Spike Lee is really capable of.
