I'm talkin' female nudity from the major stars. I would gladly trade the cussin' and comic action violence for a good shot of some bouncing breasts (non-silicone), even a see thru top would be welcome. Man, remember Jacqueline Bissett in The Deep, N. Kinski in Cat People, or even the female lead in Used Cars? Ann Margaret in Carnal Knowledge was pretty good. If there is a short bedroom scene nowadays, we only get to see the milky chest of some hairless bastard while the female star remains tastefully covered by a sheet. I would much rather my child see the naked female breast than be treated to some imbecile spouting gross "sexuality" jokes made to ratings specifications. I'd like to see some of our recent stars in the buff.
Follow Ups:
I prefer to see beavers building dams myself.
to write NO-NUDITY into their contracts. Unless they're Halle Berry, of course; or ask for more money. You did have a few second tier stars in "Dancing at the Blue Iguana"-
Daryl Hannah and Sandra Oh.Perhaps we should start a wish list:
Jennifer Lopez would probably do it with the right script.
Natalie Portman protests a little too much but I'd go if she did.
Charleze Theron never seems to keep her cloths ON.
Julia Roberts would use a body double (and lucky for us if she did)
Meg Ryan has alreadyAs far as the younger generation- I'd pay big time to see Jessica Alba- "Dark Angel, Idle Hands, Never Been Kissed" Oh my god!

Interestingly, none of the actresses you mention are more than a "B" cup, at most. Some may even by in the training bra size range. Where are the women of yesteryear? Halle Berry? Pulllleeeze (well, maybe I would...).
I don't understand the actress in "Mullholland Drive" who signed a contract to be an actor...cant call them act-"resses" anymore, I guess...got her nude body shot excised from the DVD by Lynch. The reason...she didn't want her nude body, and parts thereof, posted on the internet. And suckers, actually, purchased...and in effect...giving their consent to this CRAP, on a home video release, and let Lynch get away with this!
I mean, I can't even remember her name, now...and she's sensitive about being....ahem...popular on the internet.
What's up with that ?
I don't know who to take issue with...the wimpy, unremarkable, actress, or Wimp Lynch. Maybe, he should spend less time being politically correct and kissing butt, and more time directing Film.
This is the type of artistic censorship that's acceptable on the Left Coast, I guess.
just FYI. The Blockbusters here is SoCal must have the pre-censored versions as both actresses were TOTALLY nude.
women empowerment is niccce, but we, men and women, know very well that sex sells. Oscar winner Angelina Jolie will take her clothes off any time. In fact, those who have it and understand it, guys and gals, wouldn't have any problem. Sharon Stone has the highest IQ in hollywood, and when she crossed and recrossed her legs in Basic Instinct, I'd say her IQ was still that high. Natalie Portman is young and classy, so she won't do it any time soon; besides, Natalie has what one would call a total package , and thus it works better for her not taking her clothes off as she doesn't need it to be desired.
Rent Basic Instinct and have another good look. Sharon never shows it, she had a fluff double.
The viewing audience is younger now...ratings dont mean ANYTHING !
Parents take kids to the movies with them...stupid, though, that is !And...who really cares about it, aesthetically...it's not a shock anymore.
What would be a shock , would be a good film these days! Things are so desparate, even an insipid concept like "Spiderman" is a big hit! IT'S THAT BAD!
Fair is fair. You get Catherine Zeta-Jones' tits - I get Jude Law's ass.Oops - "non-silicone"? That must explain it.
...should be to desiliconize all those implants. On Baywatch, when the "actors" run on the beach, the men's chests move more than the women's. Surely ILM or Dreamworks could do something about this.
