When you find a VHS movie with "Screening copy and cassette trailer not for rent or resale" on the covor does it have better video quality than a regular rental? What is a Cassette trailer?
Follow Ups:
A screening copy probably got a quality control check, but it's quality is likely no better. A cassette trlr is a trlr intended to be tacked onto the head of a VHS release, of some other film. Usually the only difference from the theatrical trlr is the narr will say "Coming Aug 1st on DVD and Home video" whereas the theatrical trlr would say "Coming August 1st to a theatre ner you"
I found The Raggedy Rawney and The F.B.I. Story screening cassettes in a Sally Ann thrift store. Didn't notice better quality from a rental. My guess about cassette trailers is either a trailer for the film itself or a trailer for the videocassette release of the film so video retailers can decide if they want to purchase multiple copies.
Thanks for the info!
The movie I found with the extra stuff on the front was lady in white... Looks interesting, I haven’t seen it yet.
