Worth seeing as it's one of cinematographer Sven Nykvist's rare forays away from Director Ingmar Bergman; maybe he let him have a week off(!)
I am even more a fan of Nykvist than I am of Bergman, the cinematography will transcend the film itself. Definitely if you can see it on the big screen, do. Apart from Bergmans films, this, and Nykvists cinematography in Louis Malles "Black Moon", which is from the same era, are just extraordinary. Enjoy!

Hi Eric...
I missed the movie... I just found out that Thursday was the last day it was showing. After reading your review I was excited to see it and had to cancel a scheduled meeting with the girlfriend because of my error. Thank you for the info!
