I'd add that the Beatles Anthology is due out on DVD sometime later this year - if you were thinking of picking up that set (on VHS only currently), you might want to hold off just a little longer.
Follow Ups:
.
Alleged sources only know this, about the Anthology...1. it's going to be 4 DVD's
2. it was supposed to be scheduled to come out on November 5, now it's February 2003, at the earliest
All of this according to the abbeyard beatle fansite.
The "A Hard Day's Night" 2 DVD set, the new 2CD "Ultimate...Love Me Do" hit's set, the George Harrison "last" album and his catalog remasters, the McCartney DVD/CD of his recent concert tour, the "Let It Be" DVD/CD release, the Beatles catalogue remastering to DVD-A...all of this, just screws with the release dates, because, as everyone knows, the EMI-APPLE Partnership likes to parse releases out, BIG TIME.
All of these releases, seemingly coming on top of each other, complicates...i.e. delays and changes, actual release dates with these guys.

The Beatles Anthology, which is about 10 hours long, has all the footage of the band outside the films, like Ed Sullivan, Yankee Stadium, Budakon, the "All You Need Is Love" broadcast and the Abbey Road Studio rooftop. Much of it in generous portions.
No, I wasn't, my apologies if you thought I was, it wasn't intended.
And thanks very much for the DVD info!! Sounds good.
