At the risk of sounding contentious and negative, I didn't like this movie. I felt it was sophomoric and obvious in a lunatics-running-the-asylum, "what is reality" vein. Generally I prefer art house type films over mainstream Hollywood stuff, so I don't suffer that bias. Subtitles didn't sour my multiple viewings of "Seven Samuri", so I wasn't put off by them either. I think that, though flawed, The Matrix has more cogent insights into the nature of "freedom" than does the self-rightious King of Hearts. Then again, I could be wrong. Good luck.
