Watched this over the weekend. While I'm not sure this was a prime candidate for the Superbit treatment, I had forgotten what a great movie it was.Take the stunning locations and haunting soundtrack, add Ethan Hawke, Uma Thurman and Jude Law (all some of their very best work), not to mention Alan Arkin (a fish out of water old time cop in the new world of DNA technology- who I must say embraces it quite well) and you would already have had a film of merit.
But the story is intriguing, well conceived, and intelligent and makes the movie worth watching many times over.
Read between the lines of the blurring of personal identity in favor of genetic identity and you'll have the meat of many after dinner conversations.

Nice comments...
I've been trying to get KP to watch this. It kind of hints at an antiseptic "1984." Has a lot of style.

As a blissfully unaware Aussie please explain SUPERBIT to me.
Is it similar to High Definition or does it apply to the actual bitrate.........more......faster..........etc?
Basically Superbit utilizes the entire DVD storage for higher quality video and audio in lieu of bonus features and extras. The Superbit titles are limited but really do look and sound much better than "normal" DVD. I would have to say the video really shines in higher resolution and no artifacts with brighter and more vivid color.
See the link below for more info.
It sucks. No room for extras, so you pay a little more, for less.
