  His only film I have seen in years was Mon oncle d'Amérique - very good and highly recommended.

  I love Resnais movies. Most people would thing they are slow and pointless. I think they show feelings very few moviemakers can put out. But again is a matter of taste. If you don't like it, I tell you what to do with the DVD. My house has a nice trash can.
