Why is everyone so insistent on conveting them into aliens, or now apparently, alien robots? If they were aliens they wouldn't have the slightest interest in recreating humans would they? But if they were "native" decendents of the first sentient robot survivors of the event that exterminated humans they would be somewhat driven to know their creators, would they not? Hence, a fascination with humans or those who actually came in contact with them?Or am I missing something here?
Follow Ups:
The robots had the same fascination with their creators as humans have with their creator(s). The difference being that the robots knew exactly who their creators were.OT: One thing that always bugs me when cloning etc. is shown in pop media: they never seem to explain how an adult is cloned immediately, rather than it starting out as a baby. *That* is something WAY beyond mere cloning.
