the resident "junk-yard dog". Man, he was mean, ugly, really ugly, nasty (did I mention ugly)--if it hadn't been for his voice I would not have recoginzed him. It's bits like that that put a little light on an otherwise forgetable movie. I'd like to have seen him and Penn in that junk yard for 110 minuites...now there's a U-turn in Hell! Wait, now that I think about it, I think I did enjoy other bits of that film--the ending was so satisfying...And I think I saw the independent film channel is running a Lynch festival on christmas day...how irreverent. Can't wait. Get out the gas masks everyone...it's Blue Velvet!
Yea, I've got to say this is my favorite BB role as well. And my other dirty little confession is that I liked U-Turn far more than Sling Blade. Don't forget Nick Nolte and Jennifer Lopez were pretty intriguing as well.
Jon Voight as the blind Indian! Great fun, this movie. It reminded me of another one I liked; "Red Rock West".
which happened to have Dwight Yoakum in it as the driver of the truck nick cage hides atop, to bring the thread together nicely.BB thornton in U-Turn was the GRIMIEST person I have ever seen in a movie. The entire movie was worth it just for what he was doing by himself at the end of the movie (which I won't reveal). man was that funny.
