Just watched this on DVD last night. I first saw this movie in 79 in a theatre. I forgot how much I liked this movie. The 5.1 sound was great, video was superb. It was interesting to see a young Harrison Ford. Martin Sheen was refreshing and Malon Brando was excelent. I had to laugh at Dennis Hopper, he is timeless/ageless, gota love him.****/4

Easily on my Top Ten of all time list. A classic.
Re: Dennis Hopper. I understand he's a total scuzzbag. Beat Terry Southern out of the rights on "Easy Rider" which Southern worked on.Southern, a true talent and somewhat of a whimp, tried to beg macho Hopper, his so-called friend, and basically got nothing.
now rent this documentary by Coppola's wife. It's much better than the film, if you can believe that. The best documentary I've ever seen.
I've seen parts of it on different occasions. Definitely seemed like a good story. They should make a movie out of it. Hey, wait a minute....
I will look for it, thanks.MiKe
