Or will it be a night out as Superman?
Follow Ups:
tube, already saw the original as a kid, same for "House On Haunted
Hill" the original, both tongue-in-cheek productions by William
Castle, I like both, but like the two remakes better. - AH
The first one. Gotta love those Cenobites!
Gotta make sure it doesn't get egged again. I found out the hard way that egg will actually take the color coating off of aluminum siding, so I have a few bare metal spots showing through. No movie viewing for me. I might dress up to scare the kids away.

Crank up the creepy soundtrack by the Goblins while you hide under the blankets; great fun! I don't think any of the other Argento films come close to this one, it's aged quite well

Weird Movie! One I remember seeing at the Drive-in in the late 70's.
Just saw it recently at the local midnight movies on the big screen with monster loud sound! Excellent!
and Big sound as well a definite bonus; definite Halloween fare!
That Soundtrack on vinyl was a rare collectible until re-released recently on CD (Amazon have it), it is indeed creepy and suits the film rather well
I've always thought the lighting in that film was amazing; apparently achieved by using out-of-date Kodak 35mm stock then underdeveloping it
It looks like Argento has used a similar technique with some of his other films, but only with certain scenes
Agreed, it is a VERY weird film but I've been a fan since I saw this first in the late 1970's; all his other films have disappointed me
