AH, I don't know if you noticed, but this has got to be the 276th thread on Sci-Fi films. It also seems that you originated about 75% of them.Not that I am calling for the sci-fi post moratorium, just to make you aware.
Even AuPh seems to be tired of jumping in anymore. We have massaged the same ten "best ever" sci-fi films so much by now, they are now like a bar of soap that has seen been used by a sweaty football team twenty times.

in spite of scrubbing, and scrubbing and.... Will lay of the
sci-fi lists and limit myself to discussion of individual films,
also will get around to watching Solaris and let you know what
I think. Just hope it isn't the cinematic equivalent of Martin
Heidegger's "Being and Time"! - AH
He-he... I hope it doesn't turn out like First Prize - Watching Solaris... Second Prize - Watching Solaris two times.
BTW - have you seen Pi? We talked about it here, but I don't recall if you had seen it.
Havenīt seen Pi, but will make a point..... of seeing it, have seen it
mentioned on this site a while back and briefly in conversation with
