I read that the original casting of the remake had David Spade as the Devil and Chris Farley in Dudley Moore's role. They should have cast Elle MacPherson as Lust (now THAT's a body).
I like MacPherson as Lust; and I bet Jack Nicholson would make a
*great* devil. But why remake the thing at all? That's what I
dont understand. Spend that same money on something new and
different. Hell, make yet another action flick to appeal to the
pimple cream crowd and leave the old flicks alone. Mike
Ask an average 18 year-old if they recall seeing a film made before "Star Wars" in 1977, or even harder, what was the last B&W movie they saw. There's money to be made by finding old stuff that can be repackaged and sold to new customers.
