One of the most beautiful movies in the long time. An unforgettable sequence of black and white photographs moving in front of you set to my all-time-favore operatic music - Norma. Add to this an actor we have known and loved for decades - Oleg Yankovski - and you got a truly enjoyable experience. You are indeed sorry when it ends. Some of the most striking camera work that I remember.

Ah, and yes, the relevancy... see the people celebrating the 1900
