everyone liked reign of fire from the 4 year old to this old man.good sci-fi action film, like a cross between mad max and godzilla.
i wish i bought it instead of renting it. what a formidble enemy! as formidable as i've seen that i can remember. it's close to wiping out all of the human race.
undisputed is ok, not too good, but if you like boxing and prison type films. thinking about it now, i see a connection between it and another pretty good prison type film: runaway train. sense of bravado.
it's ok if your life is otherwise boring like mine, or your girlfriend ain't too smart and always wants to see an action type movie (i'm not going to say 'like mine', but i'll hint at it. :) )
you guys talked me into men in black two, even though the first one was pretty awful.....

if you have a dirty sense of humor and a cheap one ( as I have )
and in a good mood, you will not regret it, this film start funny, is still in the middle and end as if the director what no more certain what to do...He spend too much energie on the first two third...
More fun than Gremlins...and with a touch of Mars Attack an a prise of Beetle juice and so on....At last they have some juicy dialogs, and forTHAT we should be grateful !
After the desert & platitude they use to have on this kind of films.

my 16 year old was the only one with an attitude about it. he said before the movie: 'who wants to watch a movie with a stupid dog that talks and that's the humor.'so during the movie, whenever the dog came on, and i couldn't help but laugh, i kept turning to my son, and saying: 'you don't think that dog is funny??!!'
i have to say i enjoyed the movie. the creatures and the special effects were enjoyable, lots of interesting characters, and i really enjoyed the humor. if you are saying that the first two-thirds are fine, but then it runs out of steam, i think that's an exact observation. the director ran out of ideas as you say.
but i'm definitely glad i got it and watched it. i might even watch it again. i enjoyed it and the kids enjoyed it.
thanks for the recommendation cause i know i would not have rented it otherwise.
