I too liked the acting but a movie about low life salesmen?
If you really want to see that kind of thing, Boiler Room was better, more true to life, timely, and at least not boring.
Follow Ups:
To Patrick.
I haven't had a chance to see it, yet. I need to move past the fact that Ben Affleck (yuck!) is a lead actor in it, and just see it.
I gave at the office!
Well, the stock market crash of '87 threw me out of my cushy middle-management job (not quite American Psycho cushy). In seeking new employment I showed up at a stock brokerage and went through the SAME group interview!! You'll have to see it. It's not far off the mark. PS. I did not buy into their act and left that company alone.
I enjoyed Boiler Room and recommend it. Affleck is not one of the main characters. You should be able to easily enjoy the movie despite his occasional presence.
