  Well, the stock market crash of '87 threw me out of my cushy middle-management job (not quite American Psycho cushy). In seeking new employment I showed up at a stock brokerage and went through the SAME group interview!! You'll have to see it. It's not far off the mark. PS.   I enjoyed Boiler Room and recommend it. Affleck is not one of the main characters. You should be able to easily enjoy the movie despite his occasional presence.
