That's why I missed bidding on the Kaskara...
The commentary was illuminating. I just couldn't stop.Bravo sucks elephant balls. Haven't watched it since they started the commercials. Do they still put the fuzzy cloud over the breasts?
Also, is every other commercial still for a Buick?
Follow Ups:
I am not sure about the fuzzy clouds, and I have not kept the official tally, but unfortunately both channels seem to be about equally anoying. I can't tell you what their commercials are about - I usually Mute and look elswere, take the dog outside, etc.It is so unfortunate that in this great land our options for good films are THIS limited.
But let's not get Patrick started!
I noticed that AMC only interrupts the "newer", hot movies, like the Connection. Otherwise, it's only every 45 minutes or so that they allow for the piss break. Bravo is notorious for that shit.
And that idiotic Actor's Studio! "...What's your favorite curse word?" Give me a break, Mr.Lipton, you pretentious moron.
"Newer" movies, I like that! You might be right... in fact I HOPE you are right. But it seems like most of the time I check they run some lame westerns or things like that. Maybe just my luck.Another channel worth keeping an eye on is the TCM, of course.
Actor's Studio is for the most parts boring. But I once saw - ahem! - Richard Gere and he came across much better than many idiots you see there. I think he was the second guy to refuse that idiotic question... the first one was Paul Newman, I think. Ruchard simply replied quietly but forcefully "I don't curse". My respect for him shot up 100 points.
Gerbil Gere aside...
Btw, French Connection, awesome flick! Doesn't bore at all.
I wish they made a "director's cut" with all the edited material.
I recognized many of the neighborhoods. Most are still shitty.
