Granted, the locations didn't vary much, BUT the film caputured the desperation, frustrations, dreams, raw emotions, and chicanery that is this game called 'sales', in general. Of course not all sales positions are like the ones in GGR, but many are. The pressure and stress is always there to produce or sell, and this can be overwhelming for some. The acting was top notch and very believable, and the early 'stage setting' scene with Alec Baldwin was just so 'over the top', but effective in the context of the film. The impression I got is that these guys are the 'bad news bears' of real estate sales, and that they go home at night and booze it up and are too tired for their significant others!
