do you mean an improvement over their prior release of solaris? where do you find your news - i'm always looking for good sources of info on dvds
god bless image entertainment for releasing movies that we'd otherwise not find on dvd. i think criterion has been consistently superior to image entertainment on the same titles, albeit costing more - for example, the recent dvd releases of 8-1/2 by both companies.

  I dont remember which dvd site it was, but it was the dual soundtrack that was especially touted. apparantly a new soundtrack not usually available on dvd is included and is very nice. It would be hard to beat a Criterion release in video quality.
