Just turn off your brain Fun ! This successful take on the James Bond-genre updates it, more than James Bond could ever do, without getting bogged down in all of the old timey, pre-history.I love Vin Deisel. He is the ultimate acting, anti-actor! He walks it, the way he talks it, more than Steven Seigal could ever do it. No pretense, No fluff! Just pure ACTION!
It's the perfect Clear-your-mind film ! Get it !

XXX is actually no different than a James Bond film, since it plays out exactly like one. It sticks to all the old formulaic trappings and at its core is not an update to the genre at all.That XXX character represents only the modern day wimp: all show, full of himself, and full of crap.
It is surprisingly good, not great, but a good action flick and a different one. Rapper James Bond with killer special effects.
