Logan's Run
Silent Running
2001, A Space Odessey
Dark Star
Blade Runner
Alien (only the first movie with Ridley Scott directing)

Recent SF Movies that I've enjoyed:

Dark City
Gattaca
The Astronaut's Wife

and finally, my favorite stupid SF Movie

Starship Troopers (it's so bad, it's good)
