Here are a few, You don't say what you have seen, so I'll just give my favorite "serious" SF movies, some of these are quite oldClassics:
The Time Machine
The Day the Earth Stood Still
War of the Worlds
The Man Who Fell to Earth
Logan's Run
Silent Running
2001, A Space Odessey
Dark Star
Blade Runner
Alien (only the first movie with Ridley Scott directing)Recent SF Movies that I've enjoyed:
Dark City
Gattaca
The Astronaut's Wifeand finally, my favorite stupid SF Movie
Starship Troopers (it's so bad, it's good)
-Joe,
Gattaca was really good. Seen some others which I want to see again. Saw them on horrible black and white TVs before.
