It's thrust covered EVERY ethnic group in America. Everyone felt a common bond to it because it is soooo family. It could have been named "Big Fat Ethnic Wedding" and it would have still done the same. I thought it was a relatively poorly done film from every aspect, but it nailed everybody's family and relatives. Everybody relates.

It will be interesting to see how "The Guru" fairs with its more "brand name" cast.
