...and had a good time. OK, Pacino was Pacino and the babe didn't act like CIA material (what actress can?), but Colin Farrell is a very watchable naturalistic actor.

The critics gave the it faint praise, and Here's why, I think.

Recruit was an *enjoyable* movie.

Therefore it didn't give those critics room for analysis.

And in their canon there is no place for a simple, "Go. You'll enjoy it."
