Shopping at Rodeo Drive is romantic? Is it even sad? In that case, my top scene choice would be in American Beauty when Kevin Spacey tells his wife that he bought a muscle car, raises his fist, and shouts: "I RULE!"

  You're right about P&P being an A&E miniseries. By women, it had a 9.7 rating (9.1 overall), but has recently been removed from the top listing, I presume, because it wasn't a theatrical release.

    Very romantic! Yes indeed...alarmingly, I find I agree with my sisters for once.
    Alas, made for TV. BTW...this P&P miniseries provides the subtext (hah) for Bridgette Jones Diary and the amusement of Colin Firth's csting.
