My two favorites are relatively small parts, in Local Hero and Field of Dreams. Lancaster was such a big personality that I often find his performance more impressive and overwhelming than actually enjoyable. The pirate movie(s?) he was in, the name of which I can't remember at the moment, seemed just right to me in terms of balance--and of course he was a circus performer to start, so it fits right in.
