Well, niether am I :). He had many good performances. I'll mention "Elmer Gantry", since no one else has.

not as sentimental as some of his later films, like "Birdman"
But in "From Here To Eternity" he was part of an ensemble of fine actors. He was great, as usual, but Sinatra stole the picture! What a great movie! Compare this with the recent "Pearl Harbor" and it looks even better."Elmer Gantry" was a great performance. I'd call it a tour-de-force. I guess I just forgot this one.
