It was made in Britian and released in 1934. It starred a young woman named Jessie Matthews and featured music by Rodgers and Hart. I believe it marked the motion picture debut of "Dancing On the Ceiling" which was immortalized by Fred Astaire some years later.I remember it fondly. Matthews was a real talent and it is a wonder why she wasn't more well known in the States.
The movie's plot is typically corny - something about her pretending to be her mother - but Matthews is so engaging and fun that the plot doesn't matter. She's pretty much the whole movie - and that's enough.
