i was pleasantly surprised (low expectations mebbe)...saw it last friday night. lots of cliches and a bit of sappiness if you already know the stereotypes. def helps if you know a bit of the culture to get some of the jokes.

not a surprise it did well in the UK...US is less familiar with indian life. when the sister or our protagonist enters, i turned to my gf and said "damn! thats YOUR sister!" lots of that during the movie.

go see it.
