  I'd forgotten the name of the film until you mentioned it, but Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie in Venice definately take the gold medal when it comes to love making in cinema, although 'eroticism' is usually associated with something rather....slower?

  For 'erotic' I'd have to opt for Brit Eklund's nubile, wall-pounding dance in 'The Whicker Man', and the rape - or at least it begins as a rape - in 'Straw Dogs' is both erotic and questioning.
