In Reply to: Rabbit - Proof Fence.... posted by patrickU on April 23, 2003 at 03:16:11:
I thought you were asking about a rabbit proof fence. You see, I have a family of rabbits living under my wood deck in the backyard. They come out at night and during the day when the dog is not around and they eat my grass leaving large brown dead spots all over the lawn. So if you know of a real rabbit proof fence or a good way to rid my yard of rabbits, please let me in on your secret. ;-)
Follow Ups:
You simply need someone with a domesticated Polecat (Ferret) and a few purse-nets.Nets go over rabbit-holes, ferret goes down rabbit holes, rabbits get the f**k outa their holes pretty rapid and end up in the nets.
Blanch rabbits in salt water for an hour, slice some potatoes, carrots etc, make a stock and introduce rabbits (gutted, skinned and jointed) into casserole dish, then cook at 200 degrees centigrade for around an hour.
How about a good " goulash " Ainīt need a fence, just a cooking pan....
Hi Patrick - Yes, I will use my very heavy frying pan but I'm not fast enough to catch those nasty rabbits. ;-)
