I think there's a couple different ways I would label "horror" movies.

1. The slasher/monster type, which doesn't really scare me. Some get to be real funny when you think about it. i.e. Friday The 13th, Nightmare On Elm St.

2. The evil spirit/ghost type. i.e. The Exorcist, The Changling, Pet Semetary. This type, when done right can really scare me silly.
