IMHO, Singer is the WRONG choice. Could have been a WAY better film without him on the helm. Here's a spoiler you won't find in early/current online reviews (except from rabid fansites):Glimpses of the Phoenix....

Probably because most mainstream reviewers are unfamiliar with X-men lore re:Phoenix.BTW I thought Singer did a great job on both films.
