I have seen all his work, I think his "That summer, the most tranquil sea" and "Hanabi"(Fireworks) are the ones I like best.

He has started the work to re-do "Zatoichi"(yes! the blind swordsman) this year and is going to release in September. It will be interesting to see what his new rendition of Zatoichi is. But I was hoping that people leave Zatoichi alone, Katsu Shintaro is Zatoichi, much like Sean Connery is Mr.Bond.
