That line from the seagulls is a howler, and you're right-Dorey stole the show. The theme of parental anxiety and loss hooks grownups and kids alike right from the beginning, and I'm quite convinced the only truly creative people in Hollywood are working for Pixar. The last 4 or 5 films from the "regular" Disney animated studios have been absolute stinkers.

BTW, I saw it in a "full digital" presentation using Texas Instruments' DLP technology, and it really looked incredible.
