Aston Martin strike me as being more on the indulgent/opulent side.Of course, I've never driven one and I'm sure I would be completely impressed if I did.
A race car driver, on the hand, would be far more discriminating, I'd imagine.
The NAD seems an odd choice. I'm surprised it wasn't something like McIntosh
Follow Ups:
And I am absolutely sure I never will. I used to be an amateur racer though, and I think I still remember what lives in the head of one.
List goes something like this, depending on the size of the take...
McLaren F1.
Ferrari 348 (not the fancy ones, they can't really race).
Porsche 911 or its exotic forms.
BMW M5 and M3 (not the current ones, these have absolutely nothing to do with racing, just marketing).
Volvo R and Audi S (not the currecnt automatic crap!) - perfect "sleeper" cars.
Did I forget anything?
A Pagani Zonda or Ferrari Enzo? Pretty amazing cars, IMO.Sadly I have to agree with you on the BMW, the new M3 engine is a marvel, but its not the raw car that it used to be. The M5, along with all the new bimmers, seem very bloated to me.
.
I'ld rather drive Zhiguli. :)
