by the loudest gunfight I've ever heard in a western! Yep, right near the end of "Open Range" I nearly came out of my chair when the shooting started.
That Costner guy, why does he make such looong movies? (Or so it seemed.) Does he really think he is that interesting of a character everytime he gets in front of a camera? He is the dullest lead outside of Keanu I can think of.

    he couldn't even read/narrate with any form of passion or spirit...hearing his voice drone on made a pretty mediocre film into an atrocity.

      The wolf delivers an Oscar winning performance for displaying a primal mixture of curiosity and suspicion; as part of the acceptance speech he fangs Mr. Costner in an appropriate place which makes the voice over of the next Costner film somewhat more high pitched and better paced
