Considered that duo fight. But later reconsidered as not as good,
both are too much alike. Freddy not only talks, he laughs too,
has acerbic wit and is IMO, more intelligent than Jason and
Michael. Fred my pick as winner, if there is a clear-cut one...keeping
in mind Hollywoods penchant for sequels. In boxing terms,
pitting Jason and Michael would be like putting two sluggers in
the ring together, whereas, pitting Freddy against either would
be more like pitting a clever boxer-puncher against a slugger. - AH

freddy is invincible in the dream world, and jason is immortal in the real world. you cannot have a "fair" fight between the two in one place, and this movie kind of acknowledges that (i saw it).michael is like a strong human, but i think he's got a lot to overcome against freddy or jason's invincibility. i don't know about chuckie or the leprechan.

home turf, i.e, "dream reality" vis-a-vis "waking reality", more often has advantage?
